 Application of molybdenum bar

  1. Molybdenum bars, molybdenum plates made from molybdenum powder are used in deep processing of molybdenum wires, plates and smelting additives
  2.  For producing electric light source parts, components of electric vacuum and electric power semiconductor
  3.  For producing Mo-boats, heat shield and heat bodies in high temperature furnace
  4. Used in glass and glass fiber industry, it can serve a long life in meltd glass liquid at 1300 °c.
  5. Used as electrodes in the field of rare earth metal industry.


Surface Finish of molybdenum bar

Black – Surface is “as swaged or “as drawn”; retaining a coating of processing lubricants and oxides. Cleaned - Surface is chemically cleaned to remove all lubricants and oxides.

Ground - Surface is centerless ground to remove all coating and to achieve precise diameter control.
